Premium and fairness
Abdicate is balanced for free players. Premium can make the same journey faster; it never unlocks content, choices, achievement bonuses or power that a free player cannot reach. Nothing in the game requires gems, and nothing random is for sale.
Gems
Gems are kept safely on the server with your account. Free gems come from gem achievements (see Achievements) and can also be bought.
Time warps
A warp instantly grants that many hours of idle income and faction coins, and counts as time passed.
- Time Warp (1h): 10 gems
- Time Warp (8h): 50 gems
- Time Warp (12h): 60 gems
- Time Warp (36h): 150 gems
- Time Warp (5 days): 400 gems
Gifts
Permanent, one of each, bought in order. Their bonuses multiply. An option can switch gift bonuses off.
- Gift of the Heroes (500 gems): production x1.25, taps x1.15, offline x3.5, +0.5 mana/s, a start kit after every abdication and reincarnation (60 s of the last run's best income + 20 faction coins)
- Gift of the Kings (1000 gems, needs Gift of the Heroes): production x1.5, taps x1.3, offline x3.5, a royal squire that taps 2 times per second, a start kit after every abdication and reincarnation (300 s of the last run's best income + 60 faction coins)
- Gift of the Gods (2000 gems, needs Gift of the Kings): production x2, taps x1.5, offline x3.5, mana regen x1.1, a start kit after every abdication and reincarnation (900 s of the last run's best income + 200 faction coins)
Other gem items
- Crown Conversion (120 gems): claim your pending crowns now without abdicating; the run continues.
- Long Nights (200 gems, up to 5): +50% offline production each.
- Build Slot (150 gems, up to 7): one more saved build (3 are free).
Royal Treasury
Lifetime gems bought raise production (refunded gems no longer count):
| Gems bought | Production |
|---|---|
| 100 | x2 |
| 550 | x3 |
| 1,200 | x4 |
| 3,000 | x6 |
| 6,000 | x8 |
Rewarded ads
Watching an ad is always optional and never forced. Each ad gives a Royal Courier: a 30 minute time warp. At most 8 per day, with a 30 minute cooldown between them. Remove ads lets you claim the same warps without watching.
Fair play
- Premium bonuses are switched off during Trials, so builds still matter.
- Real-time waits (quest timers, egg stages) cannot be skipped with gems.
- Patron achievements for gems bought are badges only: no production bonus.
